The Residence Ruetoreif offers its guests all the necessary services to make their stay pleasant and comfortable. In addition to the many complimentary services provided, the facility offers some on-request services to meet the personal and specific needs of its guests.

CAFE
Bar service for breakfasts and aperitifs.

Buffet service at the Restaurant, with hot and cold, sweet and savory foods; or directly in the room with freshly baked croissants and various coffee options. (Croissant cost: €1.40)

Restaurant - Ready Meals
In our restaurant, you can enjoy typical dishes from the Aosta Valley and Gressoney. We do not offer an "à la carte" menu but prepare everything upon order, to be delivered directly to your apartment or to be consumed in our dining room.

SPA & WELLNESS
Our wellness center It offers an internal area with hydromassage, Finnish sauna and Turkish bath ; and an external area with wood-fired sauna and hydromassage tub with a view of Monte Rosa.
Reservation* recommended directly at Reception with sessions of approximately 45 minutes.
*This is not a real reservation, as the area is open to everyone until all seats are filled. The communication requested is to better distribute the influx of customers to whom we require sessions of approximately 45 minutes.

GREEN AREA
To enjoy sunny days, we offer a large green area with loungers and umbrellas, and a play area with a playhouse, swings, and a pond with water games for children.
We also offer a barbecue area immersed in greenery where, every Saturday and Sunday during the summer, the Residence organizes wonderful mixed grills with polenta concia, skewers, ribs, sausages, veal chops, and much more...

Mountain bikes and city bikes with child seats and pedal-assist mountain bikes (E-bikes) are available.

Possibility of washing and drying laundry, which we perform according to the client's instructions. An iron is also available in the room.

GAME ROOM
The game room, located in the basement, includes children's games, a ping-pong table, electronic games, a pool table, and more.

BOB AND SLED RENTAL
Possibility of using bobs and sleds for children available in the basement inside the ski/boot storage.

SKI AND BOOT STORAGE
The storage is located in the basement, in the covered garage, and includes a rack for skis and a heated boot storage.
​
The storage is secure but not supervised; therefore, the Management assumes no responsibility for any losses.
​
​In no case may skis be brought into the apartments, and it is forbidden to walk through common areas with boots on.
WIFI SERVICE
To reach the ski slopes, you can use the SkiBus shuttle service, which operates along the main road. The stop is located near the junction leading to the Residence, approximately 400 metres away.

Our stop on the regional road is Valdobbia, located between Saint-Jean and Sporthaus.

APARTMENT INFORMATION
Room Usage and Additional Services

LINEN
The apartment is provided with bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen linen, which is changed weekly or upon request at the reception.
The basic equipment of the apartment may not always match the actual number and arrangement of beds. A staff member will provide any missing items after your arrival.

ACCESS KEYS
Upon arrival, you will receive two keys: one for the apartment and an RFID card for the main entrance to the building.
You may keep the key or leave it at the reception according to your preferences. If needed, duplicates can be requested.
The RFID card is used to open the main entrance and access the back garden door.

WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE
You can light the logs available in the covered garage using fire starters, which can be requested at the reception.
​
Once the fire is lit, close the glass door and regulate it with the airflow adjustment lever underneath (more open for stronger airflow).
After the fire is established, reduce the airflow by closing the lever.
​​
We kindly ask you to exercise maximum caution when using the provided fireplace.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is equipped with standard accessories, an electric oven, a microwave oven, induction hobs, a refrigerator, and tableware suitable for the apartment’s capacity.

Oven
An electric oven with 4 settings (top element, top and bottom elements, grill, rotisserie), a temperature control thermostat, and a timer.
Refrigerator
The refrigerator will be open and switched off for cleaning purposes. The ideal setting is 2.5/3. Beyond this, it will not improve cooling but will accumulate ice, compromising its functionality.

HEATING
A centralized system manages the radiators based on a temperature sensor in the apartment, operating according to specific time slots and temperature settings.
Please do not worry if the radiators feel cold; they will activate at the appropriate time.
The preset temperature is 21°C. To request adjustments, please contact the reception.

TELEVISION
The TV is pre-tuned to start from channels 101, 102, etc.
Some digital terrestrial channels are also available, starting from channel 5001.
All adjustments can be made using the paired remote control.

If you need assistance with turning on the TV or searching for channels, do not hesitate to contact the reception.

RECYCLING
The recycling bins are located in the basement and are divided according to municipal regulations. You can find a recycling guide at the provided link.

Mountain trips
Rich in itineraries of different difficulties. From the simplest and most well-known "Passeggiata della Regina", to the visit to the Walser Alpenzù village, to the paths for the more experienced in the high mountains.

Gover Lake
Surrounded by centuries-old pine and fir trees, a few steps from the residence. At the lake you can practice sport fishing in the summer and ice skating in the winter.
Monterosa Ski
Famous ski area, among the largest in Europe with its 180 km of slopes. Undisputed destination of winter freeride and in summer allows you to reach the high altitude shelters from which to discover the 4,000 meters peaks.
Cross-country tracks
Gressoney offers to cross-country skiing enthusiasts, different tracks of medium-easy difficulty, for a total length of 22 km.
Alpenfauna Museum
The Regional Museum of Alpine Wildlife, Alpenfaunamuseum “Beck-Peccoz,” houses a historic collection of hunting trophies from around the world.

The Residence Ruetoreif offers guests additional services and special deals in collaboration with other local tourist facilities.

SKIPASS PURCHASE
Upon your arrival, you can reserve both multi-day Monterosa Ski passes for alpine skiing and tickets for the Gressoney cross-country ski trails. This allows you to avoid queues at ticket offices. Reservations should preferably be made by 4:00 PM.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Guests are provided with vouchers granting a 10% discount at affiliated rental centers.

GOLF COUPON
Golf is a must-try activity amidst the tranquility of our forests.
